The French company operating the "Green Line" metro in Egypt announced the removal of the drawings, whose design was proven to be stolen from a Russian artist, from the walls of the Girls College metro station in Cairo.

Al-Osboa newspaper reported that this came "out of respect for intellectual property rights", and after the contract with the company that designed the cultural project was terminated, for the paintings of the cultural project inside the Girls' College station on the third green line.

The company indicated that it had contracted with “Studio Wali” advertising agency of the Egyptian designer, Ghada Wali, to create artistic designs for the cultural project at the third Green Line stations, and a legally binding clause was included stating that “the advertising company is solely responsible for providing original artistic designs, In the case of quoting or copying, it must obtain official legal approval from the artists behind those works to allow that company to use it.”

It is noteworthy that the contract with the advertising company was terminated last March, due to other reasons related to a breach in some terms of the contract and implementation, and the “National Authority for Tunnels” and “RATP” Dave Cairo had previously confirmed that they did not Be aware that these designs are illegally inspired by the paintings of a Russian artist, and have declared that they are "against any infringement of intellectual property rights in any form".
