Chains and incendiary material.. The Egyptian prosecution reveals new details about the murder of broadcaster Shaima Gamal

The Egyptian Public Prosecution revealed the details of the investigations into the killing of a judge and his partner, the wife of the first, broadcaster Shimal Gamal, and burying her on a farm.

The investigations concluded that the judge resolved to get rid of his wife, in view of her threatening him to reveal their secrets and bargaining with him for secrecy with sums of money.

And the investigations continued, that the defendants had drawn up a plan in which they agreed to rent a remote farm to kill her and hide her body in a grave they would dig in. They bought tools for digging the grave and prepared a pistol and a piece of cloth to tighten her killing and paralyze her resistance.

Investigations also revealed that the accused had prepared chains and iron chains to transport the body to the grave after killing it, and incendiary material to disfigure the body before burial.

The investigations added that on the day before the crime, the judge and his partner began implementing their plan. The first accused lured the media’s wife, Shaima Jamal, to the farm, under the pretext of inspecting her to buy it.

As soon as she arrived at the farm, the judge surprised her with blows to her head with the handle of a pistol, and crouched over her with his hands and a piece of cloth until he stifled her breath.

The Public Prosecutor, Counselor Hamada Al-Sawy, had ordered the referral of the case in which the accused were: Ayman Hajjaj, a member of a judicial authority, and Hussein Al-Garabli, owner of a company, to the competent criminal court, with their continued detention pending trial;

And that is to punish them for what they were accused of killing the victim, Shaima Gamal, the wife of the first, with premeditation.
