A 65-year-old suspect was arrested for breaking the glass of a car parked in a nursery parking lot and stealing his wallet.


The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that it has been stealing at least 10 cases so far, targeting only the cars of parents who visited to pick up children.

The person arrested was Kazumasa Iida (65), an unemployed person in Asahi City, Chiba Prefecture.



According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, it is suspected that in March, a rucksack containing cash of about 30,000 yen was stolen from the inside of the car by breaking the glass of the car parked in the parking lot of a nursery school in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture with a hammer. Has been held.



The car was stopped by the guardian of a child attending a nursery school for transportation, and the suspect was identified from the images of the surrounding security cameras.



He admitted to the investigation and stated that he said, "I thought that I could steal the nursery school efficiently because the time zone was fixed. I was checking the location of the nursery center online."
