A Syrian offers 10 million pounds in blood money to pardon the Mansoura girl's killer (video)

A Syrian citizen residing in Turkey offered a sum of 10 million Egyptian pounds, to pardon Muhammad Adel, who was convicted of killing Mansoura student Naira Ashraf, after the Mansoura Criminal Court decided to refer his papers to the Mufti of Egypt, to take the legal opinion on his execution, and set a session today, Wednesday, 6 July to pronounce the verdict.

The Syrian man appeared in a live broadcast on his Facebook page and sent a message to the family of the student, Naira Ashraf, saying: "Your daughter has died, may God have mercy on her...and make her abode heaven...and Muhammad made a big mistake...but reconciliation is the master of judgments."

He added that many of the killings ended in reconciliation, noting that he is offering an amount of 10 million pounds in exchange for a pardon for Muhammad Adel, the killer of Naira Ashraf.

He stated that he was waiting to receive a response from the student's family, Naira Ashraf, about his presentation through his personal page messages.

He stressed that there must be a solution, and said: "I am against murder, and Muhammad Adel made a mistake... But we must find a solution. We lost Naira. We don't want to lose two."
