The Bouches-du-Rhône firefighters are on the alert, and fear the worst.
In a press release, the firefighters deplore no less than four fires in a few hours this Tuesday in the department.
The most important of them, at Pennes-Mirabeau, quickly burned three hectares before being contained.
“This Wednesday and especially Thursday are days placed under very high risk”, recalls the firefighters of the department in a press release.
They reiterate a call for caution.
“Throwing a butt is criminal,” they conclude.
Due to the risk of fire, this Wednesday 23 of the 25 massifs of the Bouches-du-Rhône are prohibited from access.
