Marc-Olivier Fogiel will begin his fourth season as general manager of BFMTV in September.

He gave an interview to "L'Opinion" to reveal the changes that will take place from the start of the school year.

Departure of Natacha Polony, new budget for investigations... How will BFMTV reorganize?

Marc-Olivier Fogiel, the general manager of the channel gave an interview to

L'Opinion,

in which he announced a change in the morning: a new set, "bigger, more airy, which will leave room for life".

This represents a big investment for BFMTV, "in six figures".

BFMTV is betting on the investigation...

In the evening, Yves Calvi saves half an hour.

Its slot will therefore now be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

It will be followed by that of Aurélie Casse, who takes over the controls alone, without Natacha Polony from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

And then, another announcement: Marc-Olivier Fogiel is betting a lot on the investigation.

It increases the budget of

Ligne rouge

by 60% in 2023. This is the long format box on Monday evening.

The channel notably offers documentary series but also reports and investigations of 26 or 52 minutes.

And on "sure values"

He also announces that a team is in Afghanistan and that another is working on a fiction series "around the climate on the occasion of the next COP".

Marc-Olivier Fogiel, however, does not reveal any names of new recruits.

He simply says he is looking for "columnists who cannot be found everywhere" and also bet on "sure values", in particular Roselyne Bachelot.

The name of the former minister had already appeared in the press last week.
