On July 3, the reporter saw in the Chongqing North EMU power centralized EMU application workshop of Chongqing Depot that dozens of "EMU doctors" were overhauling the EMU to escort the safe travel of passengers. Wang Changwei was one of them.
51-year-old Wang Changwei has been working as a train inspector in Chongqing Depot since 2003.
After the train returns to the maintenance base every day, Wang Changwei and his colleagues have to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the train.
In the 19 years of working as a vehicle inspector, Wang Changwei has experienced several generations of models, from the green leather car, the red leather car, the Pioneer, the Blue Arrow, to the current Fuxing.
The trains he overhauls keep changing and speeding up, and so does his job.
