Pathé unveiled this Monday the very first poster for this new episode directed by Guillaume Canet, who will also play the main character.
At his side, Gilles Lellouche will play the role of Obélix, never very far from his faithful Dogmatix, as evidenced by this first image.

, this new episode will tell a completely new story of the adventures of the Gauls, not inspired by an existing comic book.
The pitch?
“The Empress of China is imprisoned following a coup d'etat fomented by Deng Tsin Quin, a traitorous prince.
Helped by Graindemaïs, the Phoenician merchant, and by his faithful warrior Tat Han, Princess Fu-Yi, the Empress's only daughter, fled to Gaul to ask for help from the two valiant warriors Asterix and Obelix, endowed with superhuman strength thanks to their magic potion.
Our two inseparable Gauls of course agree to come to the aid of the Princess to save her mother and liberate her country”, reports the Allociné site.
A shower of stars
In theaters on February 1, 2023, this film is already one of next year's most anticipated cinema events.
Alongside Guillaume Canet and Gilles Lellouche, spectators will discover Vincent Cassel as César, Marion Cotillard as Cleopatra, but also Jonathan Cohen, Orelsan, Audrey Lamy and Chicandier.
