Due to the high concentration of cyanobacteria, the services of the metropolis have decided to limit the uses of the river which crosses Montpellier and its banks.

The ban concerns bathing, the consumption of caught fish, the watering of animals and the practice of nautical activities.

The municipalities of Lattes, Castelnau-le-Lez, Prades-le-Lez, Clapiers and Montferrier-sur-Lez are affected by this ban in force until it is banned.
