“Today, July 3, after a serious illness at the age of 68, the People’s Artist of Russia Sergei Valentinovich Sosnovsky passed away,” the statement says.
It is noted that the actor played in such performances of the theater as "Hamlet", "Lord Golovlyovs" and "Zoyka's Apartment".
Sosnovsky also played in films directed by Valery Todorovsky, Sergei Ursulyak, Yuri Bykov and Konstantin Khudyakov.
French actor and director Jean-Louis Trintignant has died at the age of 91.
