At 08:28 on July 3, the Fire Brigade of Urumqi City, Xinjiang received an alarm that a person was missing from the East Baiyanggou Scenic Spot in Urumqi County, and immediately sent 2 fire trucks and 10 fire rescue personnel to rescue.
It is understood that the missing person was hiking with 34 other ALICE friends in Dongbaiyanggou on July 2, and lost contact when going down the mountain alone.
The East Baiyanggou Scenic Spot is 56 kilometers away from the urban area of Urumqi. The mountains and jungles are densely covered. In addition, the sudden heavy rain last night brought certain difficulties to the rescue work. The search and rescue is still in progress.
