The death of a Moroccan woman fell into a water well 6 meters deep

When a barrel belonging to the concerned family was found at the side of the well, it was confirmed to them, after examination, that it was a dead body at its bottom.

A relative of the victim (40 years old), said that she went to fetch water from the well near the place of residence, but she did not return, and then the family members went out to search for her, and they found a barrel of water next to the well, and they suspected that it had fallen.

The source added that the victim's family notified the local authorities, who informed the security services and rescue personnel, who used modern machinery and equipment to retrieve the victim's body.

A local source said that recovering the body from the well was not an easy matter, as it took many hours, as the well, which is 6 meters deep, was emptied of water using pumps.

After the body was extracted from the bottom of the well, it was transferred for autopsy to determine the causes of death, and to ensure that it did not fall into the well because of a premeditated crime.

According to the same source, on instructions from the Public Prosecution, the judicial police opened a search to determine the circumstances of the accident and the circumstances of death, after it was found that the victim fell on her head at the bottom of the well.
