18-year-old Liu Yunpeng has six members of his family. His parents are migrant workers, and his father suffers from chronic diseases and often has to go to the hospital for examination and treatment.
Liu Yunpeng told reporters that despite the difficult conditions at home, parents did not fail to educate their children, and education was always the top priority in the family.
In the third semester of high school, Liu Yunpeng and his schoolmates were jointly funded by the Qian Qihu Academician Charity Fund to overcome the difficulties.
In 2013, Academician Qian Qihu set up the "Jinhui" Charity Fund in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, which specifically supports poor children and the lonely elderly.
In 2019, Academician Qian Qihu won the highest national science and technology award, and he donated all 8 million yuan to the "Jinhui Fund" to help poor students.
In Liu Yunpeng's view, the funding of Academician Qian is a great spiritual incentive for him.
For him, who is not yet full of wings, he can only study hard and continue to pass on this love if he succeeds in his studies in the future.
