We have started accepting points to be returned to people who have registered their My Number Card as a health insurance card.

Terminals were installed at about 68,000 locations nationwide to support procedures, and at mobile phone stores, clerk supported the procedures for customers.

At a mobile phone store in Tokyo, a customer immediately came to apply for point redemption, and a clerk guided the procedure while operating the terminal.

The "Mina Point 2nd" that started on the 30th is for those who have obtained a My Number card and registered as a health insurance card or a "public money receiving account" to receive benefits from the country. You can receive 15,000 yen worth of points.

To apply, you need a smartphone that can read your My Number card, but if you do not have one, you can apply at approximately 68,000 terminals nationwide, such as mobile phone stores and post offices.

It will be accepted until the end of February next year, but it means that you need to apply for your My Number Card by the end of September.

A 59-year-old man who went through the procedure said, "It is helpful to have a better understanding of being able to do the procedure together while asking the clerk what he does not understand."

Mr. Sakiho Nakai of KDDI, who handles au, said, "If you don't know how to do the procedure, the clerk will support you, so please feel free to come."
