Can Gmail be used offline?

 The American multinational technology company Google has introduced a new feature called "Gmail Offline" that allows you to use Gmail offline, and this means that you can read, archive, delete, search, create or reply to Gmail emails when you are not connected to the Internet, but it cannot be used. Gmail offline feature is only available in Chrome browser window.

How does the Gmail Offline feature work?

Follow these steps:


- Navigate to the Gmail website from the Google Chrome browser window in normal mode, not in incognito mode.


-Your inbox will open, then click on the settings option or the cogwheel button


- now click on the option "See all settings"


- now click on the "Offline" tab that appears at the top, then click on the "Enable" checkbox Offline mail.

Once you click the checkbox, you will see new settings


- Select the number of days of emails you want to sync with your Gmail


- Google offers the option to keep data offline or remove data offline as well as how much space is left on your computer your


-After selecting Keep or remove data offline, click on the "Save changes" option and Gmail Offline will be activated
