China News Service, Beijing, June 28 (Reporter Ying Ni) As a work devoted to exploring the relationship between human beings and technology, the original stage play "Influence" recently completed its national premiere at the Shi Guangnan Grand Theater in Chongqing.

This is the first drama work directed by young dancer Li Xiang.

The play is a work full of futuristic and ritualistic sense. It tells that in the future world, human names are replaced by "gender + code", and the score given by the intelligent system determines a person's career and emotional direction, as well as its relationship with society Relationship.

In the pursuit of scoring, human beings gradually alienate themselves into machines whose external images look unified and perfect. Compared with them, the virtual program "Shadow" developed by humans is more and more human.

Young dancer Li Xiang was first acquainted by the audience in "Dancing Storm", and was well known to the audience for "Brother Who Overcame Toughness".

He started dancing at the age of 4, won the "Peach and Plum Cup" and won the "Lotus Award" steadily.

In the play, Li Xiang played the avatar "Shadow", and at the same time, he became a dancer, a singer and the lyricist of the theme song.

"Shadow", as a key role in promoting the progress of the plot, has considerable weight in every appearance.

Li Xiang made a three-dimensional interpretation of the character by emphasizing both singing and dancing.

The theme song "The Spectator" he sang in the play fits the theme of the play very well.

Speaking of this cross-border lyric, Li Xiang believes that it is an interesting attempt just like his directorship, and it is also a new shoot from the roots of dance.

"Arts are all connected. Through so many years of dancing experience on stage, I have acquired a set of aesthetic standards for the stage. When rehearsing this work, I took this set of standards to myself and the actors. When I wrote the lyrics, there was no Giving up the sense of telling for the sake of rhyme is like not giving up the expression of ideas for the good looks of the action when dancing.”

In his opinion, "Influence" is neither a dance drama nor a traditional drama, and includes both dance and drama. When he worked with co-director Wang Di and executive directors, shape design and Bai Xue, dance and drama were not forced Combined, the focus is on how to make the "language rhythm" of the drama and the "body rhythm" of the dance to achieve a harmonious blend.

The play uses dots, lines and surfaces to construct many geometric shapes. The orderly combination of these shapes organically divides the stage space and creates a sense of technology and illusion in the future world.

Multimedia uses beating numbers, simple colors, and shifting images to create tension and oppression.

Lighting finds its own expressive power by cutting shapes, serving the director's scheduling, and forming a unified atmosphere with stage art and multimedia.

Wang Di, who has won awards such as Outstanding Director at the Cross-Strait Small Theater Arts Festival, talked about "Influence", saying that this work is a "thought experiment" completed by all the main creators and actors with the help of the stage. Although looking forward to the future, he is concerned about present reality.

"I hope to take the opportunity to examine self, life, work, ideals, emotions, family and social relations with the audience, and give life the respect and warmth it deserves."

It is reported that after the performance of the show in Chongqing station, the national tour will be launched in nearly ten cities including Xi'an, Yulin, Foshan, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Quanzhou, Wuhan, etc., and it is expected to meet audiences in Beijing and Shanghai later.
