[Explanation] On June 28, with the completion of the welding operation of the last steel box girder, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor Zhongshan Bridge, the core project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, was officially closed, laying the foundation for the completion and opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor as scheduled in 2024. The construction of the "Golden Inner Bay" has been accelerated.

  [Explanation] The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor is the core hub project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with a total length of 24 kilometers.

Zhongshan Bridge is one of the key control projects of the project. It is a two-tower cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 580 meters. The main tower is 213.5 meters high.

  [Explanation] The steel box girder in the Helong section is 10 meters long, 46 meters wide, and weighs 233 tons. The construction personnel operated 4 deck cranes to lift the steel box girder to the design elevation, and then went through several hours of alignment, welding and other processes. , and the beams on the left and right sides are welded together to form a whole, and the last "building block" is accurately filled.

  The closing of Zhongshan Bridge means that we have completed the first bridge engineering structure (Shenzhong Channel) after five and a half years.

It lays a solid foundation for the subsequent decking and auxiliary installations.

  [Explanation] Since the first construction of the West Artificial Island started in December 2016, and then to the closing of the Zhongshan Bridge, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Passage has been under construction for five years and six months. More than 10,000 builders have been fighting high temperatures and wind and rain in Lingdingyang.

  [Explanation] Since the hoisting of the first steel box girder of Zhongshan Bridge on November 24, 2021, the construction team has completed the high-precision erection of 69 steel box girder in 7 months.

The complex geological and climatic conditions and the large-span structure put forward higher requirements for the steel box girder of the bridge.

  The technical difficulty of the Zhongshan Bridge lies in the construction of the main tower, because the main tower is located in a coastal area with high temperature and high salt, and we have adopted a relatively advanced optimized mix ratio for crack control.

In the process of structural hoisting, because our bridge deck width is 46 meters, the cut-off length is 18 meters, and the hoisting weight of each piece is close to 495 tons. Staged loading and pulling of stay cables and distributed welding of bridge girth joints.

On the other hand, for the steel box girder, we have adopted the world's most advanced assembly and welding integration technology, which can effectively solve the fatigue problem of orthotropic plates.

  [Explanation] At present, the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel is in progress, and the Zhongshan Bridge will enter the construction stage of the road surface and ancillary facilities; the Lingdingyang Bridge is undergoing the erection of the main cable strand and the construction of the superstructure; the construction of the east and west artificial islands is progressing in an orderly manner; the submarine immersed pipe A total of 26 pipe sections have been installed in the tunnel, and it is sprinting towards the last 1,000 meters.
