In three places in the province, a large cross-border and cross-provincial drug trafficking case using delivery and logistics channels was successfully detected. All 6 suspects were arrested, 9.5 kg of liquid methamphetamine was seized, and a drug trafficking channel from overseas to Sichuan via Yunnan was cut off.

At the beginning of March 2022, the anti-drug brigade of the Hejiang County Public Security Bureau found that a former drug addict in the jurisdiction had new signs of activity.

Through research, judgment and sorting, we found a major clue of drug trafficking through Yunnan after entering the country from abroad, and a cross-border transportation and drug trafficking gang gradually emerged.

In response to the case involving overseas, cross-province, and multi-activity chains such as transportation and transit, the task force made careful deployment, and the multi-location and multi-police types cooperated efficiently, and the case investigation work progressed smoothly.

On March 26, after confirming the delivery address of the drug parcels, the task force organized more than 20 police officers to carry out investigation work in three separate ways.

After more than 10 hours of squatting and controlling, at 20:00 on March 27, the task force captured Li, Huang, and Liu on the spot who came to pick up the goods, and seized 9.5 kilograms of liquid methamphetamine.

Subsequently, the task force continued to dig deep to expand the line and accurately control, and the other three suspects of the gang were arrested successively.

So far, all the key members of the gang have been arrested.

At present, all six suspects have been transferred for review and prosecution, and the case is under further investigation.
