[Explanation] With the introduction and implementation of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan", many Hong Kong residents have taken advantage of the development of the Bay Area to focus their personal development vision on the mainland cities in the Bay Area, and Shenzhen, which is adjacent to Hong Kong, has become their The premier destination for study, entrepreneurship, employment and life development in the Bay Area.

The exchanges between Shenzhen and Hong Kong have become increasingly close. When more and more Hong Kong and Macao residents choose to live in Shenzhen, their children's education has become one of their most important concerns.

Recently, in the library of Shenzhen Luohu Hong Kong Children's School, Hong Kong students Li Xuanhui and Jiang Feiyan were reading Chinese and English textbooks under the guidance of their teachers... Shenzhen Luohu Hong Kong Children's School is the first school for Hong Kong children in the mainland.

Since its establishment, the number of students has increased from the initial 16 to more than 1,000.

Our (teaching feature) is biliterate and trilingual, then dual textbooks, and the font is one character and two characters. In this way, my brief introduction is biliterate and trilingual, biliterate is our Chinese and English, and trilingual is We speak Chinese, English and Cantonese.

Dual teaching materials We have teaching materials from the mainland and Hong Kong. After 21 years of running the school, we have a good combination of teaching materials, and have a good connection with Hong Kong and the mainland.

[Explanation] The establishment of the Hong Kong Children's School not only solves the problem of schooling for Hong Kong children, but also provides new opportunities for more Hong Kong youth who are interested in developing in the field of education in the Bay Area.

In September 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Peiqiao Academy Longhua Xinyi School ushered in the first school season.

Zhang Shunli, a Hong Kong teacher who graduated from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Hong Kong with a doctorate, was attracted to teach at the school at the beginning of its establishment.

I considered that if, in addition to teaching college students, I took a step back to the middle school to train some future elites, and with the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, I see that many Hong Kong people live here, and their children may also I need to receive a Hong Kong-style education. I saw this opportunity and came to Shenzhen to develop.

[Explanation] Zhang Shunyan said that after teaching in Shenzhen, he participated in many teaching lectures in the mainland, which increased his confidence and competitiveness in working in the mainland.

For many things, such as policy or life, the school gives a lot of support, provides accommodation, and also provides a lot of support in teaching. For example, there are many new teachers coming this year, and many of them need to be in an environment like the mainland. Those who train, like our colleagues in charge of curriculum coordinators in Hong Kong, and even principals from the Mainland share their experience of teaching in the Mainland.

[Explanation] In the physical education class, Lian Jinxiang, a Hong Kong teacher, is leading the students in warm-up training.

In his eyes, the students are very lively, making the physical education class full of energy.

I think there are two reasons that attract me. The first one is our Peiqiao College, which has a very long history and is already very famous in Hong Kong.

Then the second thing that attracted me was that this school was established in the Greater Bay Area, and then I actually paid attention to the Greater Bay Area for a long time, and then I was thinking about how or what form I would integrate into. I just happened to be a teacher and I felt that I could use my professional ability and then integrate into this school and then join our Greater Bay Area.

[Explanation] Shenzhen and Hong Kong are connected by mountains and rivers, and the students who study in Hong Kong children's schools not only gain knowledge in the classroom, but also feel the momentum brought by patriotic education.

I think the distance between us and Hong Kong has become closer, whether it is the distance in our relationship, or between some of our schools and another school, and then there are two places, such as Shenzhen and Hong Kong, we It may also feel that they are less distant.

I think it may be possible to communicate more deeply with each other, because in fact, I think there should be more communication between Hong Kong and the mainland, and then there should be more people to know, and then maybe the children in the mainland and the children in Hong Kong become good friends after getting to know each other. When they grow up and develop together, they may add more talents to the country.
