On June 28, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor Zhongshan Bridge, the core project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, officially closed, laying the foundation for the completion and opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor as scheduled in 2024.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor is a core hub project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with a total length of 24 kilometers, of which the bridge project is about 17.2 kilometers long.

Zhongshan Bridge is one of the key control projects of the project. It is a two-tower cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 580 meters. The main tower is 213.5 meters high.
