Affected by the flood, roads, bridges and culverts in Yingde City were severely damaged by floods.
According to statistics, 11 bridges were destroyed by water, 31 national and provincial roads were interrupted, and 54 rural roads were interrupted, involving 179 natural villages.
In order to promote the emergency repair work, the Guangdong transportation department conducted a comprehensive survey of the water damage and interruption of highways and bridges in Yingde, and classified them according to their priorities, and formulated an emergency repair and reconstruction plan.
According to the plan, the "life channel" that urgently needs emergency repair and reconstruction is clarified, mainly including 4 highways such as S382, X367, X379 and S526, as well as 11 bridges such as Shijiao Bridge and Litang Bridge. The primary task is to carry out emergency repair and reconstruction work.
The road collapse point of county road X367 was built through the construction of a steel bridge to get through to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation.
The on-site construction personnel completed 24 hours of uninterrupted emergency rescue, multi-point parallel operation, and only took 36 hours. Three roads including provincial highway S382, provincial highway S526 and county highway X367, as well as Huangzhu Covered Bridge, Litang Bridge, etc. All 9 bridges have temporary traffic capacity.
At present, the county road X379 is in the process of rushing through, and it is expected to rush through before July 1.
The Shijiao Bridge and Zhuwu Bridge are longer and the detour route is shorter, and reconstruction measures are taken directly for restoration.
Next, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation will urge the territorial government and the city and county transportation and highway departments to follow up the emergency repair and reconstruction construction points of each highway and bridge.
