"The investigation and analysis of drug-related cases are very important. It is necessary to clarify the way of thinking. From who the drug addicts buy the drugs and where they are sold, it should be pushed up step by step, and the source of the drug will be cracked down step by step." Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Zou Jian (pseudonym), the deputy captain of the first team of the anti-narcotics detachment of the Public Security Bureau, is familiar.

This year is the 10th year that Zou Jian has participated in the anti-drug work.

He is good at finding out big gangs from small details, and he can solve "headless cases" and "fuzzy cases" of drugs in his hands.

With his outstanding business ability, he participated in cracking 60 major cases, arrested 162 suspects, and seized more than two tons of drugs.

Focus on judging "groping in the dark"

In 2006, Zou Jian entered the Nanning Public Security Bureau to become a special police officer, and in 2012, he became an anti-drug police officer.

"In the anti-drug work, I am mainly a judge. Finding the breakthrough of a suspect mainly depends on investigation and judgment." Zou Jian said that the work of special police and anti-drug police is very different, and special police go directly to the scene, "from the beginning", Anti-drug police handling a case is a process of "creating something from nothing", often requiring "groping in the dark".

As a master of information research and judgment, Zou Jian is recognized by his colleagues as a "fashioner" of information guidance and detection.

There was a drug addict, Zou Jian found that he often went to a certain city and behaved suspiciously, so he followed up with him, and gradually found out the chain of his drug friends, upper and lower homes, etc.

"This process needs to be very careful, and all the details are explored little by little. Every tiny 'thread' may be a major clue." Zou Jian said.

From the small "threads" to find out the big gang, Zou Jian repeatedly made extraordinary achievements.

In a drug-trafficking case, the cunning suspect has repeatedly escaped the control of the anti-drug police.

Zou Jian rose to the challenge, visited and investigated, collected clues, made in-depth judgments, and made comprehensive analysis to accurately restore the activities of drug gangs.

He and his colleagues stayed on the spot, traveled long distances, and slept in the wind again and again. They tracked and investigated over 1,800 kilometers, traveled to more than 10 cities and counties in 3 provinces and regions, and gradually locked their targets. Finally, they successfully dismantled a large cross-border drug gang and arrested 16 criminal suspects. Named, about 83.06 kilograms of drugs were seized, 3 drug transport vehicles and 180,000 yuan of drug funds were seized, and a drug supply chain flowing to Guangxi was cut off.

In the process of detecting a major drug-trafficking case, Zou Jian had very few clues at first.

He innovated his ideas, applied a variety of research and judgment methods, and quickly locked down the main members of the drug gang and the drug dens. A drug-making "ice factory", 20 suspects were arrested, 563.12 kg of finished methamphetamine and 148.72 kg of the precursor chemical ephedrine were seized on the spot, with a total value of about 23 million yuan.

The arrest scene has been tested by life and death

The largest case in Guangxi in recent years on the production of drug-producing materials, and the largest case in Nanning in recent years in the production, production and trafficking of drug targets, all record the credit of Zou Jian's information research and judgment.

Due to the particularity of the anti-drug work, every action can only be "simplified". Zou Jian and his colleagues mostly wear plain clothes.

During the arrest, many criminals made crazy actions, and even drug addicts with AIDS tried to bite the police, bringing unforeseen dangers.

"One look, one conversation, and one gesture must be predicted." Zou Jian said that heavy protective equipment cannot be worn at the arrest site, and the suspect can only be arrested as soon as possible before he reacts, otherwise the consequences will be disastrous.

Zou Jian still has lingering fears when he mentions a network closing operation a few years ago.

At about 8 o'clock on August 20, 2017, the suspect drove a two-wheeled motorcycle alone and fled from Daxin County to a gas station on Yonglong Road, Xixiangtang District, Nanning City. Faced with the roundup of anti-drug police, he pulled away. The grenade he carried with him attempted to resist.

"There are grenades!" The whole team tightened their strings, and the crisis was imminent, and once they gave up, it meant that the arrest would fall short.

At that time, the grenade was at Zou Jian's feet, but he and his colleagues did not hesitate or panic.

Everyone worked together to subdue the suspect, and seized 23 pieces of heroin at the scene, with more than 1.47 million yuan in drug funds.

"At that time, I couldn't take care of that much. Although my life is in danger at any time, the suspects must be caught as soon as possible. Only by controlling them at the first time can everyone's safety be guaranteed." Zou Jian recalled that, fortunately, because The grenade was rusted and did not explode, otherwise the consequences would be disastrous.

When a major drug-making and trafficking case was closed, Zou Jian took the initiative to ask Ying, and drove an armored vehicle alone to ram through the heavy iron gate of the drug-making den. The huge recoil caused Zou Jian’s knee injury.

After the iron gate was knocked down, he immediately parked the car and rushed to the scene regardless of the knee injury to arrest the drug dealer.

There was a large amount of highly toxic sewage, highly toxic, strong acid, and strong alkaline chemicals left at the drug den site. Zou Jian risked his life to lead the police to weigh and fix evidence overnight. He didn't sleep well for two consecutive days. After I finished, I found that my hair was seriously falling off, my hands were peeling, and my oral mucosa was damaged.

Forget yourself to pay only for "no poison in the world"

On December 30, 2016, Gan Kewei, a policeman from the Narcotics Detachment of the Nanning Public Security Bureau, was sick on a business trip to study the case, and just returned to Nanning, he suffered a sudden cerebral hemorrhage and fainted.

After fighting against the disease for half a month, he gave his precious life to the cause of drug control at the age of 36.

"Work hard until you can't do anything, work hard until you move yourself." This sentence was Gan Kewei's motto during his lifetime, and it often inspired Zou Jian.

During his 10-year anti-drug work, Zou Jian often stayed up late to work overtime and overworked. It was common to not go home for several days or even months. family.

Fearing that his family would be worried, Zou Jian rarely mentioned his work to his family. When the child saw the media reports, he knew that his father was a heroic anti-drug police officer.

When going out to handle a case, the family did not dare to call Zou Jian, worried that it would affect the case handling process and Zou Jian’s safety, so they could only wait for Zou Jian to call home to report safety.

Looking back on the 10-year anti-drug road, Zou Jian was impressed by many scenes, among which the most gratifying moment was the moment when he arrested the criminal suspects, successfully controlled them, and seized the drugs: "Although the process was arduous, the result was so satisfying. People are proud."

The anti-drug cause has a long way to go, and there can be no mistakes in the case investigation, and the consequences of any mistakes are disastrous.

The police track suspects, sometimes for thousands of kilometers, which is a great challenge to everyone's physical strength. Zou Jian often rushes to drive with his colleagues, wanting to let the other party rest for a while.

For Zou Jian, the strength of unity and struggle among colleagues and a high sense of social responsibility are the driving forces for him to persevere.

"While anti-drug work is very dangerous, it's worth it if my work keeps more families out of harm's way and helps them."

Zou Jian is not only an elite soldier in investigating and solving cases, an expert in law enforcement and case handling, but also a "leader" of drug rehabilitation assistance and education.

Zou Jian once arrested a drug addict. The person refused to accept it at first. When he was arrested, he resisted fiercely, and even threatened to take revenge in the future.

However, after receiving the forced rehab, the drug addict's body recovered, and all aspects of his life and work returned to the right track. He was very grateful to Zou Jian for his help on the road of drug rehab: "Thank you very much, otherwise I may have another two years. He died of drugs."

After ten years of sharpening his sword, Zou Jian admitted that he has never regretted his work in anti-drug work.
