We note these days the unprecedented rise in temperatures worldwide, and that rise is increasing year after year, and the situation will be tragic if the causes of this huge climate change are not dealt with seriously, and since there is a solution to every problem, the countries of the world, especially the industrialized countries causing In this climate change to find radical solutions.

In the past, we were not very interested in the issue in the Arab region, but in recent years awareness has begun to grow in understanding the dimensions of the problem and its effects on us, although the problem occurs in countries such as: China, the United States, the European Union, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Iran ;

The problem affects all parts of the world, so what is the solution?

What is our role as individuals, institutions and governments towards this dilemma?

The United Nations established the Conference of the Parties to discuss and find solutions, and several agreements and protocols were concluded, the most important of which is the Paris Agreement. The Earth, during the past century or two, and this phenomenon occurs when the sun’s heat is trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere after it enters it, which raises the Earth’s temperature and makes it warmer, and this is done by absorbing atmospheric gases such as carbon dioxide for the sun’s energy and trapping it near These emissions come from anything that runs on fossil fuels, including driving gasoline cars, aviation, heating and lighting buildings powered by coal, natural gas, or oil, as well as from the energy industry and emissions from Elimination of Forests.The main gases causing this problem are water vapor, methane, ozone, and nitrous oxide, and the previous causes are due to human intervention, but there are other natural factors such as volcanoes, changing the magnetic activity of the sun, melting ice and forest fires.

In addition to the increasing temperature, there are other effects such as increasing the acidity of the oceans, and there are even direct effects on humans, including increased rates of inflammation of kidney stones caused by drought, as well as the destruction of many plants and animals, and the change in the biological ecosystem, as it is one of the It is expected that a third of the animals on Earth will disappear, and half of the plants by 2080. The effective solution is to reach “zero” emissions, hence the term Net-Zero, and in order to reach net zero emissions, it is necessary to reduce carbon dioxide levels, and improve the efficiency of means Transportation and communications, dispensing with electricity resulting from the use of fossil fuels, using nuclear energy, modernizing renewable energy sources, preserving forests and not cutting down trees, using environmentally friendly methods in agriculture and expanding it, and enhancing energy efficiency.

And to talk about the rest of the role of individuals in these efforts.
