At 75,000 square meters of the former site of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Yukimachi Factory on the north side of Nagasaki Station, Japanet Holdings, a major telecommunications company headquartered in Sasebo City, will focus on the soccer stadium, which is the home of soccer J2 and V-Varen Nagasaki. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on the 26th, and Governor Oishi and Mayor Tagami of Nagasaki City also attended.
Asahito Takata, president of Japanet Holdings, has announced that the total project cost will increase by 10 billion yen to 80 billion yen due to the soaring prices of materials, aiming for completion in September next year.
President Takada said, "I want to increase the exchange population in Nagasaki through the project. I want to do my best with preparedness."
