As the Korona-ka continues, a temple in Otsu City hangs 1,500 wind chimes on the approach to the shrine with the hope of eradicating the plague, and worshipers are enjoying the cool tone.

Saikyo-ji Temple in Otsu City has been hanging a glass wind chime on the approach road in front of the main hall since last year in an attempt to get rid of the plague and to get rid of the heat.

This year, about twice as many wind chimes as last year were hung, so visitors listened to the sounds and took pictures while going back and forth along the approach surrounded by wind chimes. I was having fun.

The wind chimes were painted by the monks of the temple one by one, and they are scheduled to be lit up at night in August.

A woman in her 50s from Kyoto said, "It's very hot today, but it was so cool and healed that the wind chimes shook in the wind and rang all at once."

Yoshiki Maesaka, the director of Saikyoji Temple, said, "It tends to be dark due to the Korona-ka, but I want you to enjoy the sounds and feel as bright as possible."

The wind chimes at Saikyoji Temple can be enjoyed until September 19th.
