Around 6 pm on the 25th, the fire department was notified that a man swimming at the beach "Hiratsuka Beach Park" in Hiratsuka City was washed off the coast.



According to police, a second-year high school boy living in Kanagawa Prefecture was rescued after a helicopter from the Japan Coast Guard, which was searching for him, was found about 30 meters offshore from the beach after 7 am on the 26th. However, death was confirmed.



The police are investigating the cause of death and the detailed situation.



The boys were visiting the beach with six high school classmates, but the beach was scheduled to open on July 16th, and yesterday there were no life savers.
