“Over the past day on June 24, 2022, 62 forest fires were extinguished in Russia on an area of 7,253 hectares,” RIA Novosti reports.
According to Avialesookhrana, there are 68 forest fires on the territory of the country on an area of 77,874 hectares.
Earlier, the head of Rosleskhoz, Ivan Sovetnikov, said that this summer the greatest fire risk is expected in Yakutia, as well as in the regions of the Far East and Siberia.
