Last weekend, Ben Stiller landed in Poland to alert the world to the plight of Ukrainian refugees who fled the Russian invader.

"I have just arrived in Poland with UNHCR, to meet families whose lives have been torn apart by war and violence in Ukraine," said the actor and UN High Commissioner for Refugees ambassador.

“Millions of people have been forced to flee their homes, more than 90% of whom are women and children.

I am here to learn, share stories that illustrate the human impact of war and amplify calls for solidarity,” he added on Instagram.

Safety for all

“I hope you will follow and share your own messages of support, for people who have fled their homes in Ukraine and for those who have been forced to flee all over the world,” continued Ben Stiller, before concluding: “ Everyone has the right to seek safety.

Whoever it is, wherever it is, at any time”.
