On the afternoon of the 25th, a man in his 90s was found lying down on the street in front of his house in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, and was confirmed dead at the hospital where he was transferred.



Since the cause of death was heat stroke, the fire department is calling for measures against heat stroke such as diligent hydration.

At around 4:15 pm on the 25th, a fire department was notified that a man had fallen on the street in Toba City, Mie Prefecture.



The man who had collapsed was taken to the hospital unconscious in his 90s, but was confirmed dead about an hour later.



According to the fire department, the man lived in a house in front of the fallen place and was on his way home from shopping.



The man's body temperature at the time of transportation was over 40 degrees Celsius, and the cause of death was heat stroke.



According to the Meteorological Observatory, the highest temperature in Toba City on the 25th was 34.6 degrees Celsius, which was a severe heat that rose to just before the hot day.



Since the temperature will continue to be high after the 26th, the meteorological observatory and fire department are calling for attention to heat stroke, such as diligently taking water and using the air conditioner properly.
