It was in this private Catholic school that the members of the group met in 1994. The singer Benoît Poher had met the Dubos brothers and Nicolas Chassagne there.

Together, they had formed the group Kyo, whose name is inherited from a video game character, and chained concerts in high school with covers of their favorite groups.

Consecration in 2003

Kyo's first album was released in 2000. But it was three years later, with

Le Chemin

(a duet with Sita) or

Dernier Danse

, that the group from Yvelines left its mark.

He won three Victoires de la Musique in 2004 and sold more than a million copies of his second album.

After some disappointments, the group made its comeback at the end of 2021 in stores with

La part des lions

and started a tour.
