On the morning of the 24th, as ships from Tongzhou District of Beijing and Xianghe County of Hebei set sail, they sailed in opposite directions through the Yangwa Lock, the gateway to and from Beijing, and the tourism channel of the Beijing-Hebei section of the Grand Canal was interconnected.
In the future, people from the two places will be able to visit each other by boat and enjoy the scenery of the canal.
According to reports, after the opening of the Beijing-Hebei section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, 3 cruise routes have been drawn up, with the longest route being 4 hours.
In the future, Beijing and Hebei will integrate high-quality resources such as Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Scenic Spot and Hebei Xianghe Chaobai River Grand Canal National Wetland Park.
