His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, blessed the achievement of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, and honored it with the awards of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival.

His Highness said in a tweet to him on his Twitter account: "Three gold and two silver will be awarded to the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority at the Gulf Radio and Television Festival in Bahrain.

We congratulate Sharjah on this distinguished Gulf media achievement under the patronage of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of His Highness the Crown Prince.

The Sharjah Radio and Television Authority won 5 awards during its competition in the activities of the 15th edition of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival, which was organized by the Gulf Radio and Television Authority of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in the Kingdom of Bahrain from June 21 to 23.

The authority won the Golden Award for: the children's program "Stars of Science" in the category of Family and Children's Programs Award, which is produced by Sharjah TV, and Sharia Al Dhaid program, produced by Al Wusta Channel from Al Dhaid, for the category of the Environmental Programs Award "Khaleena Green", and Sawt program The Recitation, which was produced by Sharjah TV for two consecutive seasons, in the category of Religious Programs Award.

While she won two silver awards for the radio program "Al-Atheer", which is broadcast on Sharjah Radio, in the category of Variety Programs, and for the radio drama "Khattar Al-Hana" in the Comedy Drama Award category.

The awards were received by an official delegation from the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, which included Salem Al Ghaithi, Director of Sharjah TV, Ismail Al Hosani, Director of Al Sharqiya Channel from Kalba, Saeed Al Ketbi, Director of Al Wusta Channel from Al Dhaid, and Amal Al Owais, Director of Sharjah Radio Programs.
