12 firefighters rushed to the scene, and after 2 hours of intense rescue, 6 trapped people were rescued safely.
People were trapped in an aluminum company in Xiuwen Town, Dongpo District, Meishan City. Firefighters used speedboats to transfer the trapped people to a safe area.
In Zhaojue County, Liangshan Prefecture, under the influence of heavy rainfall, water accumulated on urban roads and some houses were flooded.
The fire and rescue personnel carried the elderly and children with limited mobility to safely transfer them one by one.
