It is a sad census that the Sepanso, in charge of the management of the national nature reserve of Banc d'Arguin, located at the entrance of the Arcachon basin opposite the Dune of Pilat, has carried out.

Some 313 gull chicks were found lifeless, dead of dehydration, informs the NGO in a post on social networks, this Thursday.

The strong heat that hit the southwest was fatal to these young people, who were particularly vulnerable.
