Students studying fisheries at a high school in Akkeshi, Hokkaido, tried to dismantle tuna under the guidance of a local cook.

16 third-year students from the Marine Resources Department of Akkeshi Shoyo High School challenged the dismantling of tuna.

Two yellowfin tuna about 1 meter long were prepared by the students during the one-month embarkation training held in April off the coast of Guam.

Under the guidance of a local cook, the students carefully put in a knife and carved each part so that they would not leave too much on their bones.

Also, I used a spoon to scrape out the part called "middle drop" around the bone.

A boy student who tried for the first time said, "The kitchen knife that handles tuna is big and it was difficult to cut even if I put out my maximum power."

Another boy said, "Because we had a hard time catching tuna, we all want to eat it deliciously. I'm looking forward to the pickled rice bowl."
