In order to further promote the strengthening of exchanges and cooperation between Yunnan Province and Sri Lanka in the field of agricultural poverty reduction, on June 22, the "China Yunnan-Sri Lanka Agricultural Poverty Reduction Cooperation Forum" co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences opened in Kunming .

  Government representatives, experts and scholars from inside and outside Yunnan Province and Sri Lanka carried out exchanges and discussions on topics such as "Developing the Tea Industry", "Tropical Economic Crops" and "Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation to Help Poverty Alleviation" in the form of "online + offline".

This event is also one of a series of events in Yunnan Province to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sri Lanka and the 70th anniversary of the signing of the China-Sri Lanka Agreement on Rice Rubber.
