It's almost official: the

Venom 3

script is complete.

In any case, it's "Instagram official", since Tom Hardy posted a photo of the script for the highly anticipated film on the network.

The actor simply shared the image, without writing any captions or adding comments.

So we don't know much more about it, even if he took the liberty of adding a sort of red tongue to the marker that ends in a 3. Some also see an S in it, opening up the possibility of an appearance of Spider-Man in the cast.

The reason Tom Hardy already has his hands on the script is that he is also the co-writer.

As with

Venom 2

, the star collaborated with Kelly Marcel to write the film's story.

The two men were also producers of the second opus, which brought in a very respectable sum of $502 million at the box office.

The Venom

Franchise

Has Already Made Over $1 Billion

This

Venom 3

was only announced last April, during CinemaCon, so it is possible that the version of the script presented by Tom Hardy is not at all final.

Only indication of the direction of the franchise: on Instagram Stories (the story has since disappeared), Tom Hardy had added the words "Last Ride", or "Last Exit", which could indicate to fans that it will be the end of a trilogy.

It is also unknown who will be behind the camera for this third installment.

Andy Serkis directed the second film, and he never hid that he took great pleasure in going behind the camera for this feature film.

In total, the

Venom

franchise has already grossed over $1 billion at the box office.

We can therefore expect, whatever happens, that the character will once again be exploited by Sony.
