The Media Regulation Office of the Ministry of Culture and Youth is heading the delegation of radio and television institutions in the country participating in the activities of the 15th edition of the Gulf Festival, which is organized by the Gulf Radio and Television Corporation, and hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from 21 to 23 January.

The delegation includes officials and administrators from Abu Dhabi TV and Radio, Dubai TV and Radio, Sharjah TV and Radio, Ras Al Khaimah Radio, and the Arab Radio Network. .

This year, the festival is organizing 11 competitions for various series and radio programs for the member states of the Cooperation Council, in addition to 10 other competitions for series, films and television programmes.

The Executive Director of the Media Regulation Office at the Ministry of Culture and Youth, head of the delegation, Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al-Nuaimi, said that the importance of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival lies in being a Gulf forum that celebrates creativity in the field of media, in addition to its role in unifying media visions at the level of the Arab Gulf region, and supporting excellence in the field of media. During the festival, the Dubai Media Corporation, the Abu Dhabi Media Company and the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority competed in various radio and television competitions.
