The Tunisian presidency announced today, Monday, that President Kais Saied received the draft of the new constitution from Sadiq Belaid, head of the "National Consultative Authority for a New Republic", which is in charge of drafting the constitution.

The opposition continues to adhere to the 2014 constitution, describing it as the "constitution of national unity", stressing its refusal to participate in the referendum on the new draft constitution to be organized on July 25.
