Three black wolves and three white wolves have just been born in the Rêve de bisons Canadian park in Muchedent (Seine-Maritime), near Dieppe.

It now has 45 wolves.

This animal park has been welcoming them since 2017, as explained by one of the owners Xavier Denis in Paris-Normandy.

63 days of gestation

"From the first year, the three couples had loupiots and in 2018, twenty-five births were recorded, which is exceptional in France".

Several wolves have since been donated to parks in Europe.

The site is now run for births.

“The natural ovulation of all female wolves around the world always occurs on February 14 and their gestation lasts sixty-three days.

They remain fertile all their life.

Everything is done to make them feel safe and reproduce: they can easily hide away from visitors and shelter their young.
