And the Egyptian media published the confessions of the accused of the Marj massacre after upholding the death sentence for the three defendants in the case in which a person and his two wives are accused of killing his children from the second wife.

And the accused continued in her confessions: "She agreed with the second and third defendants to kill the two victim girls: Malak and Jana, and she justified this by the fact that the second and third defendants asked her so that the third defendant, the second defendant, would give a property apartment in the red corner, and she would also buy him a microbus." .

She added that the second defendant was suspicious of the validity of the lineage of the two girls to him, and that the third defendant was the one who questioned him about their parentage, and that she became pregnant from the second defendant after that with a male child, and gave birth to him, and the third defendant cut his umbilical cord because he suspected that the two girls were not his own.

In the case of the Marj massacre, the forensic doctor testified before the court that she had performed an autopsy on the body of the victim, Malak Ahmed Abdel Qader, and it was found that the cause of death was: asphyxia by drowning, and that it was consistent with the depiction contained in the defendants’ confession.

Prior to sentencing the defendants to death in the Al-Marj massacre incident, the second and third defendants were placed in a government mental health facility for a month to determine whether they were suffering from mental and psychological disorders at the time of the incident, and the extent to which it affected their cognition.

The psychiatric and psychiatric report of the second and third defendants stated that neither at the present time nor at the time of the accusation had any symptoms indicating psychological or mental disorder that precludes criminal responsibility, and both of them are of sound understanding and choice.

The first accused was also presented to a consultant psychiatric and neurological diseases, and his report stated that the first accused is fully aware and aware, does not suffer from psychological or mental illnesses, and does not have symptoms indicating the presence of a psychological or mental disorder that loses or lacks awareness, choice, integrity of will, discrimination and correct judgment On things and knowing right and wrong.

The accused of killing his three children, along with his wife, died in his prison cell, after suffering a heart attack, after a decision was issued to refer him to the Grand Mufti for a legal opinion regarding his execution.
