On the same day, Fengtai Railway Station, which had been renovated and expanded for 4 years, was reopened for operation. This G601 train was also the first high-speed train issued by Fengtai Station after it was reopened.

After the renovation and expansion, its station building area has reached about 400,000 square meters, and it can accommodate 14,000 people per hour at the same time. It has 17 passenger platforms. , 32 arrival and departure lines, is currently Asia's largest railway hub passenger station.
