[Explanation] At around 4:00 on June 18th, a fire broke out in the ethylene glycol plant area of ​​the Shanghai Petrochemical and Chemical Department. The company immediately launched the first-level plan, and simultaneously launched the environmental emergency plan to continue environmental monitoring of the plant boundary and external areas. The detection of volatile organic compounds is normal, and no impact on the surrounding water bodies has been found.

　　At 9:30 a.m. that day, the reporter saw it at a distance of about 2 kilometers from the incident, and thick smoke could still be seen in the distance.

Dozens of fire trucks were parked on both sides of the road entering the incident site, and the public security department has already controlled the road section entering the incident site.

A row of stores nearby was not operated by staff, and broken glass could be seen everywhere on the ground.

Later, I saw in the video that the fire was put out, and the problem was not too big. Basically, they all came back.

　　[Explanation] It is reported that after preliminary verification, the current accident caused a slight abrasion to the arm of an employee of Shanghai Petrochemical and the death of a third-party transport vehicle driver. The specific cause is still under further investigation.
