The Information Office of Nanhai District, Foshan City reported on the same day that after preliminary verification, the disaster mainly involved Yayao, Lianjiao and Lidong areas of Dali Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, resulting in power outages in some areas, damage to the roof and vehicles of simple workshops, and damage to gardens. Trees and billboards were blown down, and there were no reports of casualties.

　　According to reports, the S51 Shenhai Expressway Guangzhou Detachment towards Kaiping caused an accident from Dali, Foshan, Nanhai, to Xiebian due to the influence of the tornado.

After verification, a total of 2 trucks on the expressway overturned and 8 cars were slightly damaged. No one was injured or trapped at the scene.

Due to the impact of thunderstorms, the Dali toll station has damaged equipment and needs to be temporarily closed.

　　At present, the relevant departments of fire protection, public security, emergency, meteorology, power supply and Dali Town in Nanhai District are carrying out emergency power repairs, road clearance, and traffic guidance on the spot.
