Some 150 firefighters, whose task is complicated by strong gusts of wind, remain mobilized this Sunday around the Aveyron town of Comprégnac, about fifteen kilometers from Millau.

The fire which broke out on Friday in this very touristy sector of the Gorges du Tarn is no longer progressing.

But he traveled in two days of heat wave 430 hectares of forest.

About sixty inhabitants of the sector were evacuated as a precaution but, according to the prefecture, most of them were able to return to their homes this Sunday at the end of the morning.

While the Aveyron firefighters, helped by reinforcements from Bouches-du-Rhône, are working on soaking operations, some homes in Comprégnac and the neighboring town of Castelnau-Pégaroyrols remain without electricity for the time being.
