Ahmed says it himself: in his center, he does everything.
Head nurse, he manages the health center in Bitchabé, a village of 2,800 inhabitants in central Togo, near the border with Ghana.
With his team, he also covers the health needs of the 14 surrounding villages, i.e. 12,000 inhabitants in total.
In his village, he is called “Major” and he is proud of it: “
I was trained as a state nurse.
I take care of the consultation of patients, everything related to health, I also take care of the management of human resources and the financial management of the center.
And I'm not complaining.
This is the vocation of a nurse: to be proud of what you do.
