Affected by extreme weather, at about 19:20 on June 16, a tornado occurred in Taiping Town, Conghua, causing power outages in some areas, collapse of temporary scaffolding, damage to green trees and traffic jams.

On the 17th, the reporter arrived at Yanjiang West Road in Taiping Town and saw that the order of production and life in the area has basically been restored, and the shops along the street have been operating normally.

  According to the staff of the Taiping Town Government, after the tornado occurred, the public security, fire protection, urban management, power supply and other departments acted quickly to control the scene and clean up the fallen trees, scattered debris, scaffolding, etc. "Everyone has been busy all the time. By 3 a.m., the scene was basically cleaned up, and no casualties were reported."

  The Conghua Power Supply Bureau dispatched an emergency generator vehicle to restore normal power supply to the affected residents in Taiping Town at 5:15 a.m. on June 17 under the premise of ensuring safety. It is expected that the normal power supply will be restored on the evening of the 17th.
