The Japan Tourism Agency has announced that it will replace the "prefectural discount" that was planned to be implemented from the first half of July with a new measure to stimulate tourism demand as "national travel support."

In addition to increasing the amount of discount support from the country, we will also introduce new measures to avoid the concentration of tourists by making weekday coupons higher than holidays.

The government is implementing the "Prefectural Citizens' Discount," a measure to stimulate tourism demand that allows discounts on travel prices, for trips within blocks that divide the country into six, but if the infection situation improves, 7 From the first half of the month, it has been revealed that the target travel will be expanded nationwide.



In connection with this, the Japan Tourism Agency announced on the 17th that the current "Prefectural Citizens' Discount" will end on July 14, and that it will replace it with a new measure to stimulate tourism demand, "National Travel Support."



Under the new arousal measures, the amount of support for discounting travel prices is


▽ the current "prefectural discount" has an upper limit of 5,000 yen per person, but


▽ for travel products that use public transportation, the upper limit has been set.
