At about 18:50 on June 16, an explosion occurred in the sewage treatment workshop of Baojiayao Binnong Technology Co., Ltd., Qinchuan Town, Lanzhou New District, Gansu Province. Up to now, the accident has caused 8 injuries, including 2 serious injuries, 3 minor injuries, 3 people were observed, and 6 other factory personnel lost contact.
According to on-site investigation and inquiry by relevant departments, there is high-temperature and high-pressure steam in the workshop, no flammable and combustible materials, and the building structure is a steel structure with an area of about 600 square meters.
