The post-90s medical staff on the front line of the anti-epidemic

"guest" flow dispatcher in the isolation ward as a "mother"

Dispatchers, hospital infection focus, sampling "big white"... When the epidemic hit, many medical staff rushed to the front line of anti-epidemic and assumed responsibilities that were different from their daily work.

Since April 22, the Youth League Committee of the Beijing Hospital Management Center has organized and mobilized young members of 19 directly affiliated hospitals to go to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, designated hospitals, townships and streets to support the fight against the epidemic.

Recently, a reporter from the Beijing News interviewed a number of post-90s medical nurses and listened to their personal stories of anti-epidemic.

  24-hour on-call flow dispatcher

On June 11 and 12, physician Ma Yuhan and nurse Guo Xinyue from Beijing Anding Hospital went to Chaoyang District Center for Disease Control and Prevention to support this round of bar-related epidemics.

Within a week, more than 300 infected people have been found in this chain of transmission, and more than 10,000 people have been determined to be close and second-close.

In the CDC, the information judgment is carried out 24 hours a day without interruption, and the front-line dispatchers are in a working state of "continuous rotation".

Ma Yuhan supports the remote flow adjustment team.

After receiving the positive information from the initial screening, she will immediately call the person concerned and complete the flow of core information within three hours - where she has been, who she lives with, how to travel, etc.

Then, the specific points involved should be sorted out and handed over to the on-site team, and the close contact information should be sent to the close contact group, and the two parties will continue to follow up.

Flow adjustment is tedious and repetitive work, and it is difficult to do it all at once.

She transferred a case where the person involved had dinner with several colleagues, but didn't know everyone's phone number, and needed to find a close contact through other methods.

In addition to the difficulty of finding people, people's memory is not always "reliable".

The dispatcher must verify the trajectory of each point, and there are many inconsistencies in the information; as the communication deepens, new points and personnel may also be discovered. more and more".

One day, she took on a case from 2am and worked until 9am.

24-hour standby is the norm for dispatchers, as is the on-site disposal team where Guo Xinyue is located.

The group is divided into 31 large groups and 62 small groups, which are sent out in turn, around the clock.

She took over the task during the day, and also rushed to the scene at 3:00 in the morning. There was no fixed shift, so she could only sleep for a while after the task.

There is always new news in the work group on the mobile phone. For fear of missing the task information, even the rest is very vigilant.

The on-site disposal team should conduct on-site circulation of the infected people's visit points, determine the trajectory of action, and implement regional control.

Like the remote flow adjustment, the on-site flow adjustment also needs to deal with a large amount of vague and complicated information. Some points do not have specific addresses, and the only clue is a risk point name, or a code scanning and payment record. Check multiple points on site one by one; if it is determined that the connection is air-tight at the same time, the billing flow and monitoring records of the involved site should be obtained first.

After all the information has been collected, the dispatcher can start writing the site report, and sometimes it takes four or five hours at a site.

All on-site work must be carried out in protective clothing, and no eating or going to the toilet is allowed.

During the support period, Guo Xinyue was catching up with her menstrual period. In order not to delay her work, she took painkillers in advance and changed into adult diapers.

Be a "mother" to a newborn in an isolation ward

On May 7, Zhou Menglu, a nurse in the neonatal department of Beijing Shijitan Hospital, came to Beijing Ditan Hospital to support the four districts of Northeast screening.

Here, Zhou Menglu's focus is on three babies born in the isolation ward one after another.

On May 1, "Little May Day" was born in Beijing Ditan Hospital.

Since the mother is a confirmed case of the new crown, in order to prevent the newborn from contracting the new crown, the "Little May Day" is taken care of by doctors and nurses, and Zhou Menglu is one of them.

The care of the newborn is meticulous.

Breastfeed every 4 hours, water every 2 hours, change diapers at any time, and bathe your baby every day.

The protective clothing is not waterproof. When bathing "Little Wuyi", Zhou Menglu had to put another layer of isolation clothing on top of the protective clothing. The weather was hot, and every time she washed the child, her whole body was soaked with sweat.

"Little May Day" grows up gradually, and interacts with adults more and more.

When Zhou Menglu talked to him, he would open his eyes and listen, call his name, he would smile at Zhou Menglu, and he was even happier every time he took a bath.

At night, the energetic "Little Wuyi" often doesn't want to sleep. Nurses will play with him, hold him to coax him, and play lullabies to him.

Since the mother was infected with the new crown, the medical staff focused on the health of the respiratory system and digestive system of the "Little May Day", and had to check and auscultate every day. Fortunately, the "Little May Day" was very healthy. During the hospital, the nucleic acid tests were all negative.

Being unable to be with the child, the mother of "Little May Day" is a little anxious.

To reassure her, nurses send her daily videos of the baby or make video calls.

On May 18, "Little May Day" and her mother were successfully discharged from the hospital.

  Zhou Menglu also has children.

Before the support, the child asked her what she was doing. She said that now there is an epidemic, and the mother is going to the ward to take care of the baby, and the child asks whether the mother will sacrifice. Only when she gets the answer of "no", she is relieved, and she also tells her that the mother is Hero, proud of her.

On May 12, Nurses' Day, Zhou Menglu was still in the isolation ward, and the child danced for her at home to celebrate the festival.

"I have liked the medical industry since I was a child. I think this profession is sacred and it is an honor to protect everyone." Zhou Menglu said.

  "Armor" for doctors and nurses

Wang Yi, a nurse from Beijing Stomatological Hospital, supports the post of "Hospital Feeling Specialist" at Ditan Hospital.

When entering and leaving the isolation area, medical staff must follow a complicated and strict procedure for putting on and taking off protective clothing.

In the emergency area three and four that Wang Yi is in charge of, from medical staff to cleaning staff and maintenance personnel, there are not a few people entering and leaving the ward every day. One shift is eight hours. Wang Yi travels between three points, staring at Everyone goes in and out.

There will be some unexpected situations in the process of putting on and taking off.

A nurse once took a key that did not belong to the isolation ward in the pocket of her inner clothes. When she came out to take off the protective clothing, the key accidentally fell on the ground, and she didn't know what to do for a while.

The ground is a polluted environment. Wang Yi will instruct her not to pick it up. Put things like that. When the next person puts on the isolation gown and enters, she can help put the keys in 84 disinfectant to disinfect, and then return them to her after processing. .

This position requires attention to many details.

At work, Wang Yi found that the hat of the protective suit had an elastic band, and when it was taken off, it was easy to spring back and hit the bare neck of the medical staff.

After that, she will pay special attention to the condition of the hat. Once she sees skin contact, she will wipe it with disinfectant wipes for her colleagues before letting them take a bath.

The job protects medical staff from the virus, so she sees herself as their "armor".

And she has to be a layer of "soft armor".

On Wang Yi's first day shift, a medical staff came out of the isolation ward and moved a little slower in the process of removing the mask - washing hands - putting on a new mask. Wang Yi was worried that he would be exposed, so he asked him to move faster, and his voice just started. Luo, from the feedback from the other party's micro-expressions, she realized that her voice was too loud, and since then, she will pay special attention to her tone.

"They are more dangerous inside, and they are more nervous, so we should talk to them in a gentle and patient tone, otherwise they may feel uncomfortable." Wang Yi said.

  Sampling with the stars

In addition to supporting the CDC and designated hospitals, in this round of epidemic, more medical staff went to nucleic acid testing points to assist in nucleic acid collection, and Wei Wei, a doctor from Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, was one of them.

Starting from April 25, Wei Wei went to Cuigezhuang Township, Changying, Guanzhuang, Wangjing, Hongmiaobeili and other places to support nucleic acid testing more than ten times.

Different points have their own characteristics.

There are a large number of couriers, delivery boys and construction workers in Cui Gezhuang Township, who leave early for work and return late.

The sampling time notified by the community is from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, which may not be convenient for them. After consultation with the township staff and Wei Wei, who is the team leader, it was finally decided to advance the start time to 6:00 am.

In those days, Wei Wei got up at 4:00 in the morning every day, and when he arrived at the testing point at 5:30, the team was already tens of meters away.

The testing site was open until 8:30 pm. During the peak period, thousands of people had to be sampled within four hours. When she woke up the next day, her arms were sore.

She still remembers that on April 25th, the weather was hot, and wearing protective clothing was particularly sultry. When she took it off, it was like taking a bath. On April 27th, it was colder. They put a lot of warm babies on their bodies, and they survived that. low temperature of the day.

During the epidemic in Wuhan in 2020, Wei Wei was studying for a doctorate at Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. All the employed brothers and sisters were on the front line to fight the epidemic. One of the brothers and sisters entered the nucleic acid testing laboratory as soon as she gave birth, which became her heart. example.

Although it was hard to support the sampling, during the sampling process, some citizens thanked her and cared about whether she had eaten or not, and some children specially brought toys for her to see, which made her feel very warm.
